The programme, end to end

Every day of the programme, not only the ones with results. Column height is the average score, colour is whether the room passed. The empty slots are the point: this page has always shown what has happened and never how much is left.

The curve

Average score and pass rate, day by day. Where the two part company is the interesting part: a day people pass but score badly on is a day that was survived, not learned.

Where the cohort sits

Every student placed in a band by overall score. A cohort with two humps is two cohorts.

Pace against score

One mark per student: how much has been released to them, against how well they are scoring. Bottom right is the person racing ahead and understanding none of it.

Track by track

The cohort's strength across each part of the programme. Four criteria per track, averaged over every active student — so a low column is a subject the room found hard, not a person who did.

Question by question

The only view here that can blame the teaching. A question most of the room missed is a slide that failed; a question where they all picked the same wrong option is a misconception with a name. Counts only students whose app is new enough to send its answers.

Standing

One line per active student, ordered by a weighted average of what they scored and how they were rated on the taught days. A taught day nobody rated them on counts as a zero — which is why every row carries how many days it is actually based on. Read the coverage before you read the rank.

The final project is a bonus, not a component. Project ratings are held out of the average entirely and out of the coverage; what they can do is add up to half a star on top, in proportion to how well the student was rated there. A student nobody rated on the project keeps the standing they earned — the column shows an em dash, never a zero.

Each square in Criteria is one criterion across the taught days, in the order of the weights above. Deeper is a higher mark; an outline is a criterion nobody has rated yet, which the standing counts as zero. Project is what the final project adds on top, and it is the one column that can never subtract.

Who may read this

HR sees progress by default and no instructor judgement at all — their queries never select it. Granting the standing hands over the numbers: the rank and the averages behind it. A note is not reachable from it, by any route, granted or not. Both granting and revoking are written to the audit trail.

Ratings

Every rating an instructor has recorded, filtered three ways. The note is the instructor's own words about a named person — treat it accordingly.

They get a code, once. Read it out or paste it to them — it is good for 24 hours, and you can issue a new one any time.

Accounts

Re-invite covers a lost code, an expired one, and a forgotten password — it clears their password and issues a fresh code. Disabling ends their live sessions immediately.

Every browser and phone currently signed in as you. Signing one out is immediate — it is what to do about a phone left somewhere, rather than changing your password and starting again everywhere.
